Open Barbers are delighted to take part in CUT Festival: The Art of Barbering on Saturday 25th February 2017. The 10 day festival (24 Feb – 5 Mar) includes an impressive programme of international artists, East London
barbers and activists to explore the history and social relevance of the barber shop.

From 1 – 5pm Felix, Greygory and Richard of Open Barbers will be cutting hair in collaboration with friend, client and artist Emma Frankland, whose sound based performance will interact with the haircut experience. Clients turn up and wait for a haircut and enjoy spectacular views of East London from the Steve Whitson Studios.

From 5.45 – 6.15pm Open Barbers will be in conversation with Amy Pennington to discuss matters of hair and gender as part of the festival’s programme of talks and panel discussions.
