Open Barbers are looking for a new stylist to join the team at our salon
in North London. We are a hairdressing service for people of all
genders and sexualities, and the decisions we make are focused on
meeting the needs of various LGBTQQI (Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual,
Transgender, Queer, Questioning, Intersex) communities.
We are
looking for someone to work between 10 – 20 hours a week, at a rate of
£10ph. All our staff are paid the same rate, and we want all staff to
take an active part in the organising and decision making processes of
the project.
If you are a stylist with experience and confidence in
cutting all hair types, including Afro-textured hair, and would like to
work co-operatively in a friendly and welcoming environment, then we
would love to hear from you.
We particularly welcome applications from People of Colour, and queer, trans and/or intersex people.
